Where to find a genetic counselor

We offer HLA (human leukocyte antigen) sequencing services for immune system and histocompatibility research.  As part of this service we deliver HLA reports that include allele typing for up to 12 HLA genes.  Genetic counselors are available to assist with the interpretation of these reports.  Here are some useful references for identifying genetic counselors:

You may want to check with your health insurance carrier to see if they will reimburse you for genetic counseling fees.  Coverage probably varies by carrier and state.
