This Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) gene panel analyzes five genes associated with hereditary Alzheimer’s disease.
AD is characterized by progressive memory loss, language disturbances and psychiatric manifestations. This gene panel was designed for a large global research consortium based on their requirements and project goals. If necessary, the panel can be modified by adding genes, deleting genes or changing the prescribed set of genes to meet your specific research needs.
The AD gene panel includes an extensive report for each sample. The report includes variant and mutation information, variant consequences, human genome variation society nomenclature and variant interpretations, PolyPhen and SIFT variant predictions and related information.
